When Albert Einstein said those words in the 20th century, he couldn’t have known that one day doctors might write a prescription for quantum medicine, or energy medicine.
This concept sounds like science fiction, but in the 1930s, Dr. Harold Saxton Burr saw a connection between the new quantum physics and the changes in electrical fields of trees during different seasons as well as in the quantum energy fields (QEFs) surrounding ovulating women. Modern science is catching up: researchers in Korea recently identified vessels in the body similar to the meridians, lines that, according to TCM, transport qi or life energy. Acupuncture points are located around the meridians. Chinese acupuncture has been around for 5,000 years, so this study, and others conducted in the West, show that quantum medicine is not quackery or a fad as the debunkers on the Internet would have it.
If quantum medicine still seems like something out of “Star Trek,” you’re right. Many people have seen the medical diagnostic tricorder on the show, a handheld portable MRI that scans Captain Kirk’s energy field and determines what alien virus is infecting him this episode—and also what stress he’s under when he’s facing Klingons. It scans the electrical impulses generated by the cells and atoms and energy field.
A brief refresher in quantum physics. The definition of quantum/quanta (according to Freedictionary.com/Oxford Dictionaries) is: A unit of measure of the smallest amount of a physical quantity that can exist independently, especially a discrete quantity of electromagnetic radiation, proportional to the frequency of the radiation it represents.
Co-invented by Werner Heisenberg, the science describes how atoms and subatomic particles (protons, electrons, neutrons, neutrinos) leap from one energy level to another, and how light can exist in both a particle and wave state as Einstein said in 1905. Although Einstein himself called quantum physics an unfinished science, modern scientists such as Professor Stephen Hawking see it as a key to the Theory of Everything (which became an Academy Award-winning movie). Quantum medicine practitioners see it as a key to explaining disease such as Hawking’s ALS.
In 1996 in Geneva, Switzerland—home to the Large Hadron Collider—I said, “We are a spiritual being in a chemical body, electrically stimulated and emotionally controlled.” Western medicine focuses in large part on the chemical body, with some acknowledgment of emotional stress. Quantum medicine focuses on the whole picture.
Quantum medicine draws on the 20th century discovery that energy and matter are not separate, and that they affect each other. Think of gasoline in a car. Gasoline is both matter and energy. Quantum medicine jump-starts our body’s ability to heal itself, much as jumper cables do to a car engine. Energy frequencies become unhealthy and the flow of information throughout the cells/energy field gets blocked, so in order to make the quantum car run again, you need to restore the frequencies to health.

"When I began working with Bryan, I was almost at total collapse. My health had been deteriorating for some time.
