THE HORSE THAT WAS BLIND AND CAN NOW SEE

"I have known Allecia in many capacities…both as a client of mine, and me as a client of hers. This has afforded me an opportunity to see Allecia in many capacities. A gifted, authentic, introspective, wise-woman, Allecia brings her whole heart to every moment. And nature responds. It is most evident in her exchange with animals. As an equine-assisted-practicioner, I depend on my horse-partners’ utmost wellbeing. Each member of my herd must be deeply attuned to, and respectively responded to, in the ways that they need so that they in turn can be of service to our clientele. And so I lean upon Allecia’s exquisitely clear and unclouded correspondences with my animals when something is up for them that I cannot understand
Most recently our horse Blue became inexplicably and suddenly blind. This was combined with proprioceptive issues that left Blue utterly catatonic. Our vets had given us the indication it was a done deal. Blue is irrevocably blind. But something nagged at us….we felt there may be something else at work, but what?

We didn’t even know Allecia was in town, and it just happened that she was driving past our property, and recognized Blue in the paddock. Even Allecia’s timing was so elegantly in tune with life, nature, the flow of things. This is who she is.

She engaged with Blue, and shared information that assisted us to navigate an altogether unconventional approach to assisting Blue to see again. Not only did Allecia provide insights directly from Blue- when she told Allecia very clearly that, “I am not blind, I will see again”, about the nature of her blindness, and it’s causes(describing exactly the pressure behind Blue’s eyes that was cutting off blood flow to her optic nerve), but Allecia provided us with practical references to other healing practitioner that would help Blue. In this case it was a wholistic horse dentist named Phil Ratliff.

Allecia set our compass to the right direction, and within weeks we had a team of gifted practitioners successfully helping Blue.

Blue is now seeing completely out of both eyes. And her case is being presented at a large veterinary conference in Australia. Blue’s case is even making its way into the human medical field, where doctors are learning that traumatic head injury can be supported with similar methodologies used by Ratliff.

This is just one of the legacies Allecia has helped to create. She is masterful, gifted and truly attuned to the very large conversation between creature and human."

LOVE, LOSS AND COMMUNION

"For me, no tribute about Allecia Evans should begin without testament to the insightful help and healing she gave my dachshund Bragi and me over 16 years ago. Bragi came into this world troubled. He was not just a “pup-being” of bad breeding. He was fearful, and could rage and fear bite with unpredictability. No traditional treatment helped. My vet gave me Allecia’s flyer at one point when nothing short of Prozac was helping, That was the turn in the road. Through communication, slow behavior changes and internal understanding and healing he became the sweet dear Bragi he was always meant to be and lived a long near 17 years with me.

Fast forward to summer 2018 and not once but twice did I receive Allecia’s notice about her Soul Dog Medicine Heeling course. At twice, I thought I should take notice. In 2015 my husband Paul passed. In 2016 Bragi passed, and this past May three-weeks-apart I lost my other dachshund Odin and my dear cat Thor.

Last summer I adopted Jaki, a beautiful long-haired dachshund, so Odin would have a chance to be a big brother in his later years and just days before I joined Allecia’s Soul Dog Medicine Heeling course I adopted Frosti, the sweetest and most loving cat I have ever known.

That’s a lot of loss and love in 3 years time. And it was ever so timely that I reconnected with Allecia and her gentle, insightful magical ways of animal communication and heeling(healing). This 7-week course reconnected me with my own inner strength through my breathing and a commune with my animals. I re-learned about the importance of the breathe, of gut-instinct, of intuition, of energetic alignment. I learned that our Soul animals are here to help us learn and how to commune with them for greater understanding. Though this process I learned how to listen better to Jaki and to hear his voice. And I was lucky enough to also receive messages from my classmate’s animal’s and visa versa!

For anyone wishing to know and communicate with their Soul Dog (or Soul Cat) I cannot recommend Allecia Evans course or her sessions highly enough. She has dedicated her life’s work to this communion and as she says it’s always an on going process of learning and growth with the animals. Animals naturally read our energy. With Allecia’s help I am now reading Jaki and Frosti Freyr with a truer sense of who they are. The benefits of their love, trust and knowledge are streaming in like sunshine.
