Before we incarnated on planet Earth we all made pre-birth soul agreements. That means that our soul already made some important choices. Most of these choices relate to our family, loved ones and parents. Your soul moves through several stages while incarnating in the physical body. The conditioning and energetic defences you develop during those stages form and shape your emotions and your emotional reactions. These reactions play an important role in how your energy moves. Your energy moves in certain patterns as a direct result of the emotions that are linked to your energetic defences. We created these defences to protect our deepest wounds.

Due to our upbringing and as a consequence of the parenting style of our parents we all have develop coping mechanisms and survival strategies in our childhood. We created these to try to get our needs met. Our unmet needs form the basis of our core woundings. For some of us the mother wound is most present, for others the father wound and some people really suffer from both. It is different for each of us how deep these wounds are but we all have them. Our core wounding plays an important role in how we experience and lead our life. Unfortunately this all plays out in your subconscious.

Many of us have done Inner Child work. That is wonderful work and it can really help with working on our fears and trauma but it does not address our core wounding. Insight in the psychology of your soul and clearing the imprints on the chakras can help you heal your core mother and/or father wound.
